Food & Coffee Operations Consultant

Duties & Responsibilities
- To analyse and consolidate findings, provide improvement recommendations and liaise with COMPANY person-in-charge (Food & Coffee team) on a frequent basis.
- Site Visits to deli2go & Costa sites:
- 1. Analyse site performance to determine area for improvement (Review by sales vs target)
- 2. Conduct site visits that have been properly scheduled, and produce site visit reports.
- 3. Walk about & observe current operations to ensure food safe practices & housekeeping are adhered to, food preparation is carried out per SOP, POSM and promotions are executed & planogram compliance
- 4. Quarterly Audits using Operations Excellence Store Visit format, which findings is reported back to Shell Food & Coffee team including S&O team, covering:
- a) Site’s documentation including temperature logs, pest control, allergens, halal certs etc
- b) Personal hygiene of site staff preparing food
- c) Equipment cleaning & maintenance
- d) Product preparation & display
- e) Inventory management
- f) Service steps and product knowledge of site staff
- g) Costa SOPs
- h) Share observation/audit/performance results with Shell retailer & discuss areas for improvement
- Training for new sites & Refresher training for new staff
- 1. Conduct deli2go Crew Foundation Training and organize Food Handler’s Training at deli2go Academy for new sites
- 2. On-site coaching of retail outlet site staff on proper baking, food preparation and food safety which complies to local regulatory requirements
- Preparation of new site openings which includes briefing retailers on the opening procedures & checklists

Job Requirements
- • Must be well verse with Food & Beverage (F&B) operation is an advantage
- • Prior working experience with retail business, F&B operations and F&B Sales is an advantage.
- • Demonstrate fluency in the local language and ideally in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, both written and spoken
