Summary of Principal Job Responsibility:

Recruiter is to seek out professionals with the right combination of experience, education and skills to fill a particular position. Employers typically depend on Recruiters to attract employees who fit a job description and have the potential to become valuable additions to the company. To achieve this objective, the recruiters typically work with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans and write job descriptions. Then, they publicize openings by posting them in appropriate outlets and work toward developing a pool of qualified individuals.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
  • Source and recruitcandidates by using databases, social media etc
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting andselection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Provide well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
